The criteria we use is reasonably simple. Our interests and skills have led us to treat each opportunity as unique - but we do avoid investments into direct O&G, professional service firms, and active construction companies. We focus on businesses with $1mm - $5mm EBITDA with strong cash-flows and good margins. We typically acquire 100% equity and negotiate terms with sellers where a strong management team is present.

As Operators ourselves, we value simple and smart businesses. That is why we tend to pay down debt and hold onto our investments for long periods. In our experience, a well understood debt-free business is a wise endeavor. The outcome is a good base to pay dividends and leverage for more investments.
